As of September 18 (Sunday), the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla starrer, “Barcelona: A Love Untold” has already grossed P130 million at the box-office. The film, directed by Olivia M. Lamasan, opened on September 14 at P23 million gross. Now on its 2nd week at cinemas, “Barcelona” is projected by this writer to hit the P200 million mark anytime from now.  


KathNiel's 2015 remake of "Pangako Sa 'Yo" invades Latin America as it premieres in Peru, via Panamericana Network on September 22, 5:30 PM (Peru Time). Here's the trailer: 



   


It’s official! Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano returns to the big screen via a Star Cinema film, to be directed by box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina, who helmed their breakthrough TV series, “Forevermore”. Details about the film’s plot remains undisclosed at the moment, but Enrique hinted that he would be playing a “playboy” character, while Liza will provide the comic part. The yet untitled movie is set to be released before the year ends.




Fresh from his well-received “MMK” stint two Saturdays ago, Jerome Ponce headlined Boardwalk’s 25th Anniversaya show with Alden Richards and JC De Vera. He was also spotted alongside Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao in a mini-event for DOTA enthusiasts on Tuesday night, sporting a new, Brazilian-inspired hair ‘do.


ABS-CBN’s latest primetime offering, “Magpahanggang Wakas”, starring Jericho Rosales and Arci Munoz, premiered to a strong 25.1  nationwide ratings last Monday night. The following night, the show’s ratings went higher at 26.8. Figures were based on Kantar Media’s Nationwide Survey.


The presscon for the upcoming “One Voice” concert, headlined by former PBB Celebrity Housemate and “The Voice Kids” alumnus JK Labajo, was held last Tuesday. Sharing the stage with JK are “The Voice” winners Klarisse De Guzman and Jason Dy. “One Voice” will be staged at the Music Museum on October 1.


After 17 years, ABS-CBN executive and MMK host Ms. Charo Santos returns to acting via “Ang Babaeng Humayo” which had its media conference on Wednesday afternoon. The film, also starring John Lloyd Cruz and directed by Lav Diaz, just won the Golden Lion for Best Film at 73rd Venice Film Festival. “Ang Babaeng Humayo” will open in Philippine cinemas this September 28.
