After 12 years, 6 shared kids, 2 wedding ceremonies, and $400 million worth of riches, the arguably most popular real life couple in the world, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, or Brangelina as they are called together, have headed splitsville.
Pitt and Jolie, through representatives, have released
official statements on what they are going through now.
Actress Marion Cotillard had to issue a statement through
her Instagram account after she was pointed the supposed third party to Brangelina’s
marriage:
The world was so surprised when the news broke out on
Tuesday. Even the couple’s friend, actor George Clooney, had no idea of the
separation, and found out the news through a CNN reporter interviewing
him at the United Nations when he attended a rountable with US President Barack
Obama on the refugee crisis. “I feel very sorry to hear that. That’s the first I’ve
heard of it,” Clooney said.
Madame Tussauds of the famous wax museum has already
separated Jolie’s and Pitt’s figures, putting Twiligght series Robert Pattinson
in between them.
British songstress Adele also dedicated her Madison Square
Garden concert to the couple, whom she referred to as “elephant in the room”. “I’m
dedicating the show tonight to them,” the British songstress reportedly said to
the crowd. She even called the Brangelina break-up, "the end of an era".
Fans worldwide are so affected with the news, they expressed
their sentiments on the Brangelina through social media, making them a top
trending topic on different platforms even as of this posting. In the
Philippines, netizens have been posting “Walang talagang forever” and “walang
forever, kung ang Brangelina nagiwalay, kayo pa ba”. Even local actress Angel
Locsin, who also just came from a talked-about break up from her boyfriend,
posted on Instagram how affected she was. Her friend, and another celebrity,
Anne Curtis, also reacted on her post:
Brad and Angelina met on the set of their blockbuster 2014 hit, Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
